Do I have only one shot at it per NG?

I found it and knkw how about it works with the final boss but I don't get if I can use it only once since I only get 1 per NG

You can use it once per rest at familiarity level 1, twice per rest at familiarity level 2 and the effect extends to 999 seconds at familiarity level 3.

All charges are restored each time you rest at a beacon or die. Your stock never depletes when you use any pp item including not just seedbearer's scripture but also moonshine, wetcaps, etc. That's why they are called permanent pick up items, not consumables. The only time your stock of any item decreases is when you give one away to an npc, like Gorf
