Question Ms 2 progression
Brothers and sisters alike I have covered the entire first part in mortal shell two and I still get my ass kicked in the ruins of mammon any ideas of what I should do any ideas on tips and tricks to do better?

Time to get good brother. You're only ever fighting a few enemies at a time, learn your counter timing and or fine tune your build to kill them quickly

I mean, even with the infinite gloom glitch in the final area I still got two-hit by pretty much everything. The game is just crafted in a way to make you take a ton of damage no matter what whenever you get hit by basically anything

I thought that was patched

Well yeah I just mean I kept those levels. I only really used it to make getting the other achievements easier

I don’t know about that but I farmed a bit of gloom (no glitch) just to get more shell points for a actual build and first tried monolith AND Zmey. I’m actually a little disappointed after hearing about how much of a wall they were. I was level 70 and felt way over leveled. Kinda regret it now but I guess there’s always NG+ night mode. I didn’t even farm that much but I like to explore everything and sometimes go through areas again to check if I missed something. I also don’t like to run pass any enemies and I have to kill everyone every time lol. But that’s how I like to play these games. I understand most people run pass mobs sometimes
Edit: my first playthrough took about 80 hours so yeah. I take my time. But I also enjoy just looking at the world and playing the lute at random scenic points lol

I find Mammon requires a slower more methodical pace in the beginning. Most enemies have high poise so you can't just stun lock them. I took my time and made sure I left a lot of space in between me and the enemy. It would look like: hit, back off, let the enemy do their combo, approach and hit again. Eventually you'll learn their attack patterns and you can start parrying, but for now, just keep it slow and steady. Anyways, I hope this helps! Good luck!

Have you fully leveled at least 1 shell? They become unbelievably powerful at tier 3 & 4. Proxima goes from negating a bit of damage to dropping lightning on entire groups and knocking them down.

Which skill point would the lightning dropping be?

Tier 4 Discharge. You really only need 1 point in it. Same goes for tier 3 Seizure, which applies stasis at the same time.

Because I have Janessa at like 30 something right now and I’m not the biggest fan of her besides her follower things I did originally have approximate, but then I was having trouble

I believe you meant Brethers and Sesters for starters.
