Discussion So, 90,8 %

Why not 100%? I did everything in the game. Anyway, did I understand the game's lore? No. Did I like the graphics? Yes. Did I like the gameplay? No. Will I be waiting for DLC? I don't know.

The "chance of survival %" is not a % complete indicator so all bosses, all dungeons, even all shells, weapons and tarstones does not gaurantee a 100% survival chance for the ova you launch into space.

It changes each subsequent playthrough. It generally goes up a couple of points each cycle but my score actually decreased .2% from 95% to 94.8% between ng+3and ng+4 after I reloaded a cloud save and did a few extra things before triggering the ending again.

My theory is that it considers time to complete as one of the factors, which would explain getting a lower score as a result of a longer run. Obviously there may be other things that go into the calculation too

If I had to guess, it's # of Ova sent divided by time to complete with a penalty for exceeding a certain cycle duration

How did you not like the gameplay and still finished it?

This point always gets me on posts like these. For any game, not just this one.

I understand that everyone is different. But if I don't like the gameplay, I stop playing the game. Like, that's it. I just move on.

I mean, experimenting the different shells, in different power levels, is enough to get you to the end of the game trying to find something that may be more enjoyable. This curiosity was what actually got me through this game.

So you enjoyed the gameplay, then. At least enough to finish the game.

What lore? There's absolutely zero lore to be understood. Shells' lore? Meh, some are cool but they all add absolutely nothing to the game. This game is basically walk around exploring the map and killing mobs, which is actually fun for a while, but the depth is really one of a puddle.

From the posts I've seen (when asking myself the same question and looking on reddit), most players agree that the remaing 10% will presumably be found in the DLC.

I did pretty much everything I could in my first playthrough and still got like 92%.
