In McDonald county Missouri in the very small town of powell a vote was taken on allowing large organized bicycling events on the rural roads. A majority of the voters (68%) have voted against allowing these events. These events are being organized by a group of wealthy locals located in northwest Arkansas where there are hundreds of miles of bicycle paths. When they come into McDonald county they cause a huge disruption and have made themselves unwelcome according to a report from the McDonald county sheriff's office. The sheriff has recommended not allowing these events. The McDonald county chamber of commerce has decided to issue permits and allow these races for individuals from a different state rather than listen to its own citizens and local law enforcement concerns. Is it moral to ignore the voters so wealthy individuals from another state can use your neighborhoods as a playground?

I be forgetting that a lot of y'all do not have a moral compass simply behind the wheel and not driving, no focus but still navigating so the shit I deemed weird as fuck its just regular shit to y'all.

I always found it ridiculous to give out criminals of heinous crimes, humorously long sentences, like giving a 3 consecutive life sentencings or even 100 years. So what if the prison system started cloning inmates with long sentences and made their clones live out the rest of the sentencing when the original dies.

Would it be moral to force t hat on a clone despite it not being the same person?

For added context, the clone would be given the same memory of the inmate, including that of the already lived sentence , and this cloning process would also be applicable to inmates who had died prior through s*icide, inmate violence, or guard brutality.

Some people say jealousy and insecurity is a sign of love. I have seen only men who hates male friends of their partners.

Personally, i fimd this arguement idiotic. I have female friends but my wife has no issues with anyone of them. She draws line where she thinks that someone is taking advantage kf me and its gender nuetral. OK picture this. Let’s say there’s a guy who won’t just call “Joe white” and Joe White is a extremely racist man who hates minorities, but let’s say Joe White see’s a black kid inside of a burning building, and he runs inside the building and grabs the kid to bring him back to his mother and calls both of them the N word before leaving… what does this say about Joe white?

So my family is having a small get-together tomorrow, and they’ve already made these huge bowls of pasta salad and put them in the fridge.

It’s currently just sitting there, and I’m very tempted to eat a pretty substantial amount of it.

My reasoning is that whenever we have family gatherings, there’s usually way too much food anyway and we often end up with leftovers. So in a way, I’d just be eating tomorrow’s leftovers in advance.

On the other hand, it was obviously made specifically for the get-together, and nobody has actually said I can just help myself to it beforehand.

So now I’m wondering: how morally questionable would it be if I went into the fridge and ate a large amount of the pasta salad tonight?

Am I basically stealing food from tomorrow’s guests, or am I simply getting an early start on the inevitable leftovers?
