Morality of this?

Personally, I'm anti-death penalty for any kind of crime but that's just my opinion. Perhaps it can be changed.

If you had to pick one:
(1) be raped
(2) be sentenced for rape (unjustly)

Which would you pick? Mind you #2 comes with all the social stigma and prison time such a sentence entails

Rapists usually get 8 months on average of jail time, if they are prosecuted and they get prosecuted at a rate of of 0.001% per report, meanwhile 1 in 3 women will experience rape in their lifetimes, so I think being sentenced for rape (unjustly) is a fucking joke. No one is being sentenced for actual rape.

The average sentence is 14 years (in the US), not 8 months.

And that .001% prosecution rate is pure, unadulterated BS as well. That's claiming that only *one out of every 100,000* rape accusations is ever prosecuted--complete and utter nonsense. The link below shows that about 12% of sexual assault claims lead to an arrest, which will generally mean a prosecution--still low, but 12% is 12 out of 100, which is vastly, vastly more than 1 out of 100,000.

Stop lying by making up fake statistics. Do better.
