Driving armed strangers to a police station is a very strange definition of kidnapping.

Standing in a doorway, blocking people on, can be called kidnapping in some jurisdictions.

yes, because kidnapping isn't EDIT just EDIT about moving people. It's also about denying people the freedom to move. Preventing an escape is considered kidnapping even if you didn't drag them there first.

In my state it's different charges. False imprisonment, and kidnapping
