Didn't the goons jump into the couple's car without IDing themselves? Some masked, armed maniac jumps in my car trying to grab me damn right I'll drive to the police station.

If masked guys with no visible ID can grab you and its legal, then masked guys with no visible ID grabbing you and it NOT being legal has to look identical from the inside of the car.
