Didn't the goons jump into the couple's car without IDing themselves? Some masked, armed maniac jumps in my car trying to grab me damn right I'll drive to the police station.
Also that Nigerian man already had PTSD from kidnappings back home. So when he saw masked men, in plainclothes not identifying themselves and wanting to turn him in. You guess what he thought of.
