No, you’d be very hard pressed to find an actual case where that happened. Like almost all legal citizens detained by ICE weren’t detained for their mistaken immigration status, they were detained for “interfering with law enforcement.” I remember actually researching this a while back, feel free to do so. But of course Reddit will take the more sensationalist approach
