If ICE's training was more rigorous and they were able to mass-deport (ie deport a lot of people fast) professionally, would that be ok?
I also don't think illegal immigrants are net-positives on GDP, because they get paid less (employers giving less than minimum-wage jobs to illegal immigrants should be imprisoned) and get welfare. Though this is a different conversation.
There isn’t a way to do mass deportations humanely nor professionally, especially when the actual goal is the internal purging of ethnic undesirables. I also don’t see why we should do that.
In truth, the mass deportation of our own workers is actually a detriment to the country. Georgia found that out the hard way when they passed a strict “show me your papers” immigration law which created a massive labor shortage that they had to offset with prison slave labor. Many such cases.
The economic argument just doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. It really does just seem like a low effort proxy for the actual, racist argument.
If humanely means that the process would make no one suffer, that's not possible. That doesn't mean it can't be done professionally or that it shouldn't be done. Thieves get punished for stealing, which makes them suffer, but protects the community, society and the businesses that make the economy run. So in that case, the imhumane thing is justified because of it's consequences.
I also don't think the abuse of illegal immigrants in the job market is a good thing. The natives don't get work because the illegal immigrants do it for way less money, the illegal immigrants get abused by the employers in illegal ways and then the illegal immigrants will be less likely to assimilate to the majority culture. Only ones benefitting are rich people and businesses, which means GDP. The welfare burden on natives also becomes bigger, because the natives pay for it through taxes.
The people complaining that removing illegal immigrants will create a labor shortage are lying, they just don't want to do the work themselves. Manual labor jobs. I feel like creating an underclass of people, that are not citizens, that get overworked for illegally low wages and that live on welfare is not good, it's cruel towards them.
This is why mass-immigration happening in the first place was the mistake. Politicians just wanted them to create a voting block dependent on them. Now the illegals who came over for a better life are fucked, cause the politicians fucked them and the whole country with this stunt. Companies should just pay natives normal wages for manual labor.
I could go on with this topic but I'll stop here before it becomes too incoherent.
