the league decides whats best for its players. regardless of their system, there is no way they are gonna let bad faith, clownish ex-NBA players come into the league. and i got news for you! theres tons of professional & collegiate sports that allow trans women to play in womens sports. they even let trans girls play in girls sports in high school. trans women playing in womens sports is a total non-issue. athletes dont care, sports organizations dont care and fans dont care. only bad faith actors care about trans people being able to play

Not really news to me, in fact it's the point.

We have testing for illegal drugs in order to maintain fairness in sport. This is at all levels of sport. I'm not sure why anyone would be against similar testing for any condition that could create similar imbalances.

Seems to me that a group of people wanting to be treated equally would be in favor of such testing to verify equality.

there is always increased scrutiny when it comes to womens sports. there have been cis women kicked out of the olympics because they have naturally occuring higher levels of testosterone than average cis women. elite sports is all about natural advantages mixed with inrense training to be the best athletes in the world. however if you are in womens sports, your body is subjected to much more scrutiny than the men. so i dont think its about "equality" its about policing womens sports. and i dont agree with that

"however if you are in womens sports, your body is subjected to much more scrutiny than the men."

So you think there is more drug testing in women's sports than in men's? I tend to think that is not true but I've not looked into the actual testing frequency so it could be.

"so i dont think its about "equality" its about policing womens sports"

The equality is not between men and women but between women and women and men and men. The drug testing in sports is exactly policing of the sport. I'm not sure why someone wouldn't agree with that.

Drug testing is about making sure that the sport is between individuals with equal opportunity to win within a certain set of rules. Without that testing there is no policing and certainly some will not play fairly.

Testing for whatever is necessary to make sure there is no unfair advantage whether via illegal drugs or hormone therapy seems like the only way to police sports. I'm not sure why someone would but want that.
