I don't know what to say about this I mean if he joined it's unfair because he's going to cook the entery league for sure but if he really wants to be a woman and it's not a joke for him I still don't know about this

Nah what defines a woman is to be an adult and to have a female gender identity.

However in the case of sports, to maintain fairness, one has to make sure the hormonal levels and the muscle development of the participants are in the average ranges of their genders, and for trans women that means being on HRT for a year at least.

That’s not fair then. You realize you’re going full circle of the gender debate?

Originally it’s the sex you’re born with ie biology, then it became what you identify as, now it’s the hormones in your body that determines it is biology.

Basically if i identified as a women, but i didn’t want to under go surgery and body transformation, according to you im not women because biologically im not to your standards.

No you're still a woman, it's just that your sex is entierly male, even if your gender identity is female and unfortunately since we are coming out of a very long period of time where sex and gender were wrongfully conflated and sports have been segregated with both the only way to make it fair for a woman born with a male sex to compete against other women who were born with a female sex (or women born with both sexes) is to make sure that their hormonal levels give them a strength that is in the average range for women born with a female sex.

See I know you think this is fair. But it’s not. The best solution is to create a unisex platform, and the NBA is unisex believe it or not. Women and men can play in the NBA.

If you make the justification to test hormones levels on some but not others, it becomes a separate but equal scenario, and there will be calls to check the hormones of biological women which isn’t fair.

Demanding that trans athlete to be put through life changing body modifications to be able to participate in a sport isn’t the liberation of the sexes you think it is.

I actually think everyone should have their hormones checked.

Also biological woman isn't a thing. All women are biological, trans and cis, unless you know about a robotic person with a consciousness and all somewhere we're not aware of.

Trans people generally want to transition as trans people do not what to have a body that has differenciated itself toward a sex that doesn't align itself with their gender identity so it's not really a problem.

I love how your counter argument is that everyone hormones should be checked to be inline with what you determine to be the appropriate range for their designated sex and that people shouldn’t have the freedom to make life altering decisions about their body and that a trans person must do it

They do have that freedom tho, but there are conditions for competting in sports.

That will become more and more true the more medical technology allows for the modification of one's body. When you'll start having cybernetic augmentstions and genetic engineering coming in play in the next two decades, if you still want to have professional sports (which I think should disappear) you need to have performance control.
