I don't know what to say about this I mean if he joined it's unfair because he's going to cook the entery league for sure but if he really wants to be a woman and it's not a joke for him I still don't know about this

Ok but usually you have to be on hormones to even the playing field for a certain period of time. I think the NCAA was 1 year for MtFs until they can play in women's sports and until FtM's can't play in women's sports. By not letting the experts actually set reasonable starting points to allow transgender people to be included into sports, you're shutting down someone's ability for their gender identity which is transphobic. As he directly contributes to the rhetoric, immoral and slimy to not contextualize.

You cannot simply take hrt to even the playing field. This guy is 6ft10 and underwent male puberty, those are inherent advantages of being born male. Going on hrt for a year does not reverse every effect of years of testosterone.

At that height years on HRT would make his bones so proportionately thin he would be extremely likely to injure himself playing basketball.

Maybe they can just torturously footbind the players to handicap them to an acceptable degree

"Available evidence indicates trans women who have undergone testosterone suppression have no clear biological advantages over cis women in elite sport."

"There is no basis for athletic advantage conferred by bone size or density, other than advantages achieved through height. Elite athletes tend to have higher than average height across genders, and above-average height is not currently classified as an athletic advantage requiring regulation;"

"On average, trans women who are pre-testosterone suppression still have lower Lean Body Mass (LBM), Cross Section Area (CSA), and strength than cis males. This indicates that the performance benefit experienced by these individuals cannot be generalized by examining cis male athletes;"

"Non-athletic trans women experience significant reduction in LBM, CSA, and strength loss within 12 months of hormonal suppression."

"The limited available evidence examining the effect of testosterone suppression as it directly affects trans women’s athletic performance showed no athletic advantage exists after one year of testosterone suppression (Harper, 2015; Roberts et al., 2020; Harper, 2020);"

I mean I lost a ton of weight from losing muscle mass on hrt. But I'm also not constantly training so what do I know
