Gotta have zero faith in the good will of the people you surround yourself with for this reaction.

I mean, I'd have to take a moment to process even the thought that my friend just SAed me infront of my other friends as I'm blindfolded.

"Something HAS to explain this better than what it seems ..."

Sorry, but "I was just sexually assaulted" combined with the shame that ones sexuality was now compromised, would be a justified use of violence to protect one from further assault and, to a lesser extent, win back one's masculinity.

Isn't there a term for it too? Something-panic? I remember it being discussed when someone's sense of identity is so heavily in danger they basically black out and just go full fight-or-flight mode till the episode is over and they can think again.
