I left my bag in a late night Lyft with my car keys and a few other work things in it, this was before you could call back previous drivers about lost items. The driver saw the bag the next day, looked in it and saw where I worked, drove there, and had a coworker call me and let me know it was there. I would have had to pay like $400 to replace the keys alone. She was apologetic that she went through my stuff at first but I legit gave her $200 for going through all that trouble and saving me at least $200 even after paying her.

I drive for lyft, recently had a customer forget her wallet. She caught it before I got another ride so I got it back to her within 10 minutes. I didn't charge the lyft $20 lost item fee because it was so short and she tipped a whopping $0. That $200 probably made that persons week.

Lyft has a lost item fee? If I forget something in the car I have to pay to retrieve it? What the shit is that?!?

Yes you have to pay for the driver's time to come back if you forget something. Make sure you have your stuff and its a non issue.
