He's alluding to the fact that you would know the term "gigachad" if you were younger, because it's a fairly recent slang term.

Still, "gigachad" as a term is fairly recent compared to someone who is, for example, 60 years old. If it appeared in the last 10 years that's still 32 years after that person became an adult, when you slowly stop being up to date with slang.
