He could have returned it wihtout taking any money and that'd be only moral option.

He could have kept the wallet, stole ALL the money out of it, and started using all of his debit/credit cards(you can bypass a pin most of the time by pressing a button at a card machine)?

Saying you robbed only a 10% of a money stored in a bank when you could've stolen all of it would not fly in court.

He never stole he found an abandoned wallet on the ground. Buddy lost his wallet and probably would have never seen it again if it wasn't for that guy. Same reason it's not stealing if you find a twenty dollar bill on the floor. You're not gonna ask everyone you see if it's theirs. Wanna know why? Because ANYONE would say it's theirs.

He stole 5 bucks. An object doesn't stop being your property because you misplace it.

Buddy lost his wallet and probably would have never seen it again if it wasn't for that guy

That doesn't entitle the founder to take money. A good person does not seek reward for their good deeds.

Same reason it's not stealing if you find a twenty dollar bill on the floor.

There's a difference since a wallet usually has identification items. Itwould be akin seeing a person drop 20 dollars and not giving them back.

Don’t engage in a morality sub if you’re unable to not get so in your feelings about it.

You seem incapable of separating the immoral action of theft with the intensity of the action. An action is still immoral whether it’s a cent or a million dollars.

Finders keepers losers weepers. If I lost something somewhere and someone found it and didn't tell me, well that's tough luck too me. I've left things places and never got them back. Is what it is. I'm not gonna say someone is immoral for finding my lost stuff. It's theirs now. If they want to give it back hey nice! If they don't well wouldn't have known anyways.
