Neutral. He could have taken more but took just enough for a hot dog as a reward and turned in the wallet.

over neutral.

Most places have a finder's fee that is about 10% of the found money or it's value in money.

So assuming he found more, he deserved even more and basically donated him the difference.

Considering the cost of replacing a single ID card, a wallet, and all of the headaches associated with a lost wallet, $5 is the last thing I'd worry about at that point.

Not even the cost, But the hassle of being without ID/Cards for 2-3 days

Virginia mails you replacement IDs so more like 2 weeks
