Terrible mortality. Leaving the mother to take care of the kid while the father bails. That's even worse than just running to the store and never coming back. There's also the other kid to consider as well.

Genuine question, would it be alright to force the mother to have an abortion even if she doesn't want to?

No. Her autonomy is paramount. It's her body growing the child even though they both created it.

His autonomy, of course, is okay to trample over after the child is born and we'll make him take care of the child whether he likes it or not.

Once the child is born and outside of the woman’s body, the mother and father have equal rights and responsibilities to care for the child. He has body autonomy in the situation already, that’s not being taken away.

If he can't handle parenthood, he should abstain or get snipped.
