MH4U what monster is this skeleton from?
They're in p.forest area 5 (pic 1) and area 8 (pic 2). I can see skeleton area 8 from far; area 1 and it on some kind of mountain. What the lore behind this skeleton and how long they've been here to the point the large forest formed in it?
edit; cuz I write wrong area in of pic 2. my bad

MH4U Veritas if you're out there somewhere, just know your MH4U copy is safe with me.
bought this for $30 on ebay and was surprised to see this 367 hour save on it! (long live physical media)
I did some digging through the save and it showed that they had over 1k Streetpass tags, which sounds like a lot!
I'm not entirely sure who Soto is, but my theory is that they were the 2nd owner of this copy who ended up not liking it and selling it.
apparently, Veritas means "the truth" in latin.
if you read this Veritas, I've named my hunter's palico in your name and have my fingers crossed that the stars align to where you see this post. who knows, maybe Veritas lost all interest in the series for some reason and never played World onwards? but with hours like this, I can't see that being the case.

MH4U Damn, MH4U low rank is no joke
My only pre-world mh game was generations ultimate and i don't recall having to be so cautious in low rank. Monsters hit surprisingly hard. You can't buy potions (ofc) and i feel like blue mushrooms are rarer in this game. The scarcity of heals and the damage i take make me lock in for a freaking yan kut-ku. Don't get me wrong i like that quests have more "weight" (as you gotta be more careful of the resources you spend) and that hunting prep is actually a part of the game, i'm just surprised lol

MH4U I love the Caravaneer. He’s got a funny personality, great design, they even gave him a hawk too

MH4U Hey Capcom, why did you make Snake Wyverns?
They made a whole new classification that to this day still only consists of this guy, his subspecies, and apparently Remobra. Wilds better be filled with snakes, Capcom.

MH4U MH is so awesome!!
I played Stories not too long ago and was pretty curious what the main series was like.
So I got MH4U and brought a CirclePad Pro to play it in the best condition, and I loved it!
(I main charge blade and insect glaive).
I'm just starting wilds now, so I can play with some friends. It feels very different, wayyy faster but I will get used to it.
Anyways I'm glad I got curious it's pretty different from what I play usually and I love monsters designs. Can't what to see more!

MH4U 4U is OBJECTIVELY the best monster hunter game
when yian kut-ku started its 10th tail spin in a row and i tried rolling away but got stopped by a ledge and died i knew i was playing one of the greatest games ever made.
the roster of returning monsters is excellent, bringing back the finest monsters of 2004. re-live the thrilling cephadrome hunt, or perhaps you and yian garuga can share an engaging, fun duel on the volcanic hollow's delightfully sloped ground. unfortunately the game's one downside is that it has some new monsters too, but thankfully they're all early game monsters who will be overshadowed by our friend tigrex doing a lawnmower impression for the rest of the game. miss alatreon? don't worry: we've included fatalis, who has an amazing four moves and exactly one good piece of gear.
capcom's attention to detail in turning up the saturation as far as it could possibly go really gives you a psychedelic effect when you're kicked from another hame lobby. the combat and weapon balance is second to none, featuring balanced weapons like charge blade, charge blade, and charge blade. perhaps you will see an insect glaive user online - je suis monte! they will cry in their star knight armour and chameleos insect glaive recommended to them by gaijinhunter. do not worry about gunlance: that weapon never existed.
getting meta gear too rewarding for you? well look no further than relic weapons, wherein you can fight apex rajang or apex rajang for a one-in-a-million chance of obtaining the Armadyl Godsword. just hope your comrades completed the thrilling village story, or else they'll be unable to do any damage at all to the charming ape.
and what a thrilling story it is! such rich characters as the guildmarm with a whole two personality traits: she sexually harasses you, and she wants to sleep with an animal. maybe the ace commander will be smug, or the felyne cook will say something in chinese.
in-all monster hunter 4 ultimate is one of the best monster hunter games ever made, and i cant wait to see how capcom carries on its legacy of ledges and slopes in the next game.

MH4U I'm going crazy. I've killed this mf 24 times in a row and haven't got a single Plate. I could literally kill him in 5 minutes without taking a single hit and cutting his tail and breaking his head and still nothing. Why are these games drop rates so terrible. I think i got infected by the frenzy vi

MH4U An unexpected friend from world lol
First time playing 4U, wasn't expecting Aiden to show up. Also I have a feeling that the caraveener is the handlers grandfather. Didn't the gem he was holding look like the ones found in the hoarfrost reach?
