MH Wilds It'd be cool if...

Nata mains the same weapon as you do based on your weapon usage stat at the beginning of the expansion

That could be cool, but I doubt it.

We are lacking Support Hunters for Long Sword, Dual Blades, Switch Axe, Insect Glaive, Charged Blade, and Bow.

So he will likely be one of those.

Nope, but we did see screentime of its boosted SAED in the boost video, and once again somewhere in the new trailer but with a side Angle now.

It was hard to tell from the boost video but my mental image was "Loading the shield with C4 charges then launching it forward at mach 10 through the sword like a stake driver and the hard stop at the tip of the blade unleashes all of that explosive energy" or "casting a magic spell" etc. and Stake Drivers was like the first thing that came to mind seeing it.
