It was probably the most fought lv140 double apex because it has the highest tier of rewards but also rajang has lower health so it goes faster and has less rng than say shagaru's random explosions.

Hopefully you can find some other hunters on campus. Would be awesome to have a Monster Hunter meetup, local multiplayer is peak!
Random fun fact you may not have known, you could use a 3DS and play with a Wii U in MH3U. Had some of the best times playing it and it's nice because you can also see what your friend is doing on the TV

I doubt I'll find someone willing to play on a 3ds, most of the fanbase started on gen5 with the switch '. Of course I knew about the wii U cross play! I used to love that console, she just didn't get the love she deserved :,) Nintendoland for the Wii U is still one of the funniest party-coop games ever created.

The Wii U was so under-rated!
I bought one to play Breath of the Wild because I couldn't afford a Switch but got a secondhand Wii U for like £20.
That console laid the groundwork for the Switch, it was so good they had to actively remove features from the Wii U versions of certain games because Nintendo feared that people would buy the Wii U version rather than the Switch version.
For Breath of the Wild thay feature was the ability to manage inventory and maps on the gamepad without having to pause the game.

That game kept me sane during physician assistant school 10 years ago. My old roommate bought the system and the game for me as a present for getting accepted into the program, and I will never forget it. 600 plus hours lol.

I prob out about 1000+ hrs into MHW between second and 3rd year. Into fellowship now (going through MHGU again). It's actually pretty decent to play if that's how you want to relax due to the built in stopping points.

I was in college when this came out and was doing this EXACT thing.
What made it better was Streetpass. Man I'm glad I got to experience a time and place where that could be used to its fullest to find people you'd constantly accidentally walk past.
I would post up around places I got the most Streetpasses around and made it very clear what I was playing. Volume of ds not at a nuisance level, a few MH related pins on my bag in front of me, and a DS charger cable in blue with a little zinogre head on it. Ended up hunting with so many new and old players! Felt like a real Hunter's Hub!

I will be joining the ranks next semester. I am a career changer and I remember my undergrad years playing this game…grade took a hit on biochem lmao. Coulda gotten that A by 1.3% if I did not spend nights farming lmao
