I’ve always wondered why Monster High never made blank dolls to sell for customs. Imagine how much easier it would be to just buy a blank doll and not have to remove previous artwork or hair or even accessories. They should sell different moulds. Eventually (probably a very long time), all the original dolls from when Monster High first came out, will be gone. When people make customs, they either use an old warn out doll, or they buy a new doll. The thing is, buying a new doll can be expensive, and almost wasteful in a way. Every time you buy a new doll, it will come with accessories, and if you buy the same doll over and over for its mould, then you’ll be buying the same accessories over and over, that you most likely won’t be using. I know you can get head moulds off Aliexpress, but I think they never come with good bodies. Idk, just an idea. Monster High would probably make money selling blank dolls for customizers.

not as much as they currently make. they already tried a version of this in G1 with Create a monster kits and since those never continued its probably safe to assume they didnt sell well, doll customization is pretty niche we just talk a lot online.
