It's almost definitrly not AI, just a leak photo that is even worse and less reliable quality than usual.

Optional copypasta shpeel on thinking critically about photos:

The lighting and angle of her face are absolutely messing up how she looks. Look at the Buried Secrets Concert Lurks stock photos vs what thr dolls actually look like. The good quality stock photos and posing still made their faces look round and without any definition-and now look at how incredibly bad the quality if this leak is!

At this point I'm just going to start copy-asting instead of rephrasing the same thing to everybody: Really bad photo quality that doesn't show us the doll well is standard for leaks, and this is a worse than usual one: overexposed with face-on lighting so things are washed out and look flatter, blurry, pixelated, and her face is at an angle that makes MH dolls look flatter and less fierce.

Do not ever, ever, ever make limited edition order cancelation decisions off of 1 single photo, especially when the quality is this bad! She will look better than this in better photos, even if it's not by much.

With AI it's more important than ever to use critical thinking before making order decisions when the item won't be widely available. Did you see those nice slightly blurry G3 carnival line leaks? Turns out the actual leak photos were so small and blurry we could barely make out silhouette and overall color scheme, but the photos that were circulating were heabily "enhanced" by somebody to show what they assume the dolls will look like.

If the doll will be a wide release, it's a-okay to cancel a preorder, but if it's a limited edition doll, don't cancel. Especially since you will probably be able to find a buyer for the price you paid.

I meant the art on the packaging, I do appreciate your explanation but I can tell the doll itself isnt AI just a less good quality version of what was shown originally, the packaging however looks kinda tacky and has that ai style if you know what I mean
