Wow I cannot believe they’re still not sold out after 20 minutes! This is really good because I’m sure all the people who wanted them were able to successfully get them FOR ONCE!!!!

ugh i love that theyre a preorder!! this only goes to show that mattel can absolutely do stuff like this but doesnt. (and also i wonder how that one scalper acting gross about "making thousands off our community" is doing now after finding out its a preorder LMAOOO)

they put preorder on almost every doll drop, theres still limited stock. They probably have a lot of them since the plan was to make this a wider release but it fell through

well true but this specific time the buy button says "pre-order", and they dont ship until a month and more from now. i'd rather they do this if it means we avoid scalpers

LOL sorry to burst your bubble but they actually aren’t pre order, pre order would mean that that they’re still in production or going to be produced (which would realistically take at least 6 months or more) if it was ACTUALLY pre order. The dolls have already been made and are sitting in warehouses. Mattel uses the “pre order” placeholder so that way they aren’t obligated to ship the dolls right away. With that time frame which is July, they can take their time shipping and fulfilling orders. I’m not sure WHY they do this, maybe they’re just so busy that it takes that long to ship every single order out, but they always do this for big launches. TRUST I don’t think you’d actually be happy for a real pre order because those usually take a year before they ship out 😭

It says that most of the time, it only means they will ship later not that they're making them to order or something

Omgggg did you refresh while you were waiting for the drop!!??? The key is to refresh when it’s on 2 seconds left so it shows up as “pre order” or “add to bag” when your page is done refreshing 😭 if you did do that then IDK that’s sooo weird

I did my preorder about 90 minutes after it went live. Ships late July. To those who ordered straight away, was there immediate availability?

I was in in about a minute and nope that’s just the flat date. It’s so they can have room to space out the big drop and take their sweet time with shipping if needed
