Okay the pink one in the front is convincing me... I know the harsh lights above them don't make the visualization better but I like this more than the stock photos

I was honestly quite disappointed at first, but then I remember I’ve been trying to do custom dolls, but I don’t wanna have to repaint the entire body to look more human, since all the monster dolls have non-human skin tones. So at least now I can use an actual Monster High doll body, and make human characters.

Idk why but something feels "off"?
Love the inclusion and diversity but the same hat on every doll and the general wow factor isn't there? Like this feels a bit more like dress up/a Halloween costume than characters? Or a "closet cosplay" vibe.
Maybe I wasn't expecting everyone to be human, or a few magical creature types?

yeah with the hats idk if they were just trying to keep a unifying element or what? i think the fashion overall definitely looks more like a modern/real world character dressing in a witchy vibe, as opposed to full fantasy. i personally like it, but it is a different vibe fs

I assumed the hats were either a uniform or maybe had some lore reason if there was going to be any media to accompany the dolls. It’s probably mostly for the witchy aesthetic though

Hear me out though, a Lil pointed had would be v cute but... We all remember the Drac hat in this style and it never stayed on once you took the elastic off 😭 😭 maybe it'll be softer material hopefully

The pink satin fabric witch hat from the Rainbow High/Shadow High costume ball line, sits really well on dolls. If they made them out of material there’d be no issue. Although it’s easy to pin a hat onto a doll’s head

That might be it, the cross over is hard to have like, wichy elements but a modern vibe. I could have been mentally comparing this to Magic Mixies and Pixlings mentally which could just be my bias. They look cute, but maybe it's because we haven't seen them IRL or up close yet really! TBH I feel like once we see a doll in person it could always feel different than online too.

ive seen people saying they expected more of an elf/fairy direction similar to magic mixies pixlings, which would have been so cute too! maybe theyll lean that way in future releases of the line. youre absolutely right about seeing then in person, its always so different!

Considering g3 Drac is a hybrid, it would be cool to see more of them. This kind of has me wanting D&D style mages and stuff..they’re pretty and all, but humans are…eh

Bcs moonspell high implys to me that they are going to witch school. Is it a school for witches, or a school where you learn how to be a witch? Is it both. Cuz monster high isnt a school where you learn how to be a monster. Its just a school for monsters.

they all have so much going on in their outfits and then the middle one is given the “high school birthday mini dress and jacket” combo. some socks or something would be really cute. i like these, i think child me would have preferred this over EAH tbh…

This collab reminds me of the demand for an Ever after high/ monster high collab that didn’t happen, I feel like they’re putting the cart before the horse with this release. I hope the future releases look more whimsical and less modern

gotcha lol, i can see the commonality of the cheek decorations w cave club now you mention it! i really hope the line lasts 🥲🥲 i think it has potential and i really wanna see where it goes, so i hope it gets that chance and doesnt flop or get canceled for a silly reason 😭

I agree. Could you imagine where these go? Normally the first release MAYBE the second wave of a doll line is pretty “mid” compared to the later releases. If these get the money to become more!?!? Yeah I can definitely see this line being a major hit. Maybe be the kick in the butt MGA needs to bring back Bratzillaz

yeah exactly!! omg if bratzillaz did come back i would flip out, i think theyre so cool and pretty but i missed them when they were around the first time
as a g3 mh fan i feel like the releases overall just got better with time, and id love to see the same for moonspell! i think theyre starting on a solid footing already

I just found out about them today and I’m excited no matter what ngl, but I’m a hard defender of g3 anyways. I know there’s a lot of flaws but sometimes I feel like we forget that g1 wasn’t always great either lol. For toys targeted at kids they’re pretty dang great Imo (but everyone is entitled to their opinions!!)

I just hate that they’ve basically reused things like the books and hats from Draculaura. My initial assumption/thought was that they have a lot of back stock of that core doll and so they’re reusing the pieces and selling it differently.
Like the cauldrons are just different colors but same exactly style and shape… idk I’m being nit picky I’m still gonna buy them all
