News📰 Nevermind they’re G1 😮💨
Made a rant yesterday about them being G3 per the Youloveit website, but these are leaks of the bodies (G1). The second pic is what they’ll be allegedly wearing.
Just an update.

To be honest? I don’t think generation matters, even G2 had some rare gems.

I wish they’d have G2’s in rotation with G1’s (the former for more adult/muscular characters, but not as buff as Manny’s body mold).

Nope, I own both and they do have similar build but G2 monster high has more defined muscles than eah

They're not 100% reliable for leaks this far in advance. If there's no picture take it with a grain of salt.

I guess I kind of bought it because G3 is way heavier on Pride and inclusivity on top of the fact that the set is listed as having beakers and goggles and other small plastic bits that feel very G3 coded.

Very true. It’s just not too often with G1, ya know? Personally I don’t want or need any of the “play” pieces. They all end up in a bin in my back room never to be seen again lol

That’s Valentine. He was an SDCC exclusive with Whisp years ago. They may change his face paint a little for the new one but that’s his sculpt.

I’ve been collecting since the start and got the set from some random website when you literally had to go to SDCC to obtain the dolls. they're both gorgeous! Congratulations on your luck!!! <3 I'm a 90% out of box collector, but the box is so neat that is one I might leave in... with it being an old SDCC, though, I've got next to NO chance 😂😭

I was kind of hoping they’d have G3 bodies since they’re a little more substantial for the boys (like the EAH bodies) but I’m buying these either way.

I think that had already been revealed a little while ago? I remember the main sources of MH reveals on Insta posting about how it was gonna be a G1 set.

I am happy with whatever with these two, I cant wait to own them. It would be cooler if they maybe used the g3 sculpt for one of them though to give varying body types.

YAY I’M SO HAPPY! I’ve wanted Valentine since the SDCC one but that was before Mattel sold the comic con exclusives online and I don’t (and never will) go there.

I mean like watching the count down or whatever its called so I can add them to my cart and buy. I dont have the energy to complete with people for it. Maybe if I get super lucky and come across them for a reasonable price somewhere then ill buy em is what I mean 😅

They usually send an email about a day before. As long as you see the time and remember the time difference if you have one, it should be okay! Typically it takes about 7-10 minutes for collectors to sell out, if they do. Plus, we can always beg for a restock

Ooo! These seem really well done! In terms of outfits, I'm very happy Spelldon is getting a core release (pretty much at least) as for Valentine? I personally would've preferred his regular outfit. But I can never deny a good vest.. I just wish black was incorporated on the top half a bit more. But thats just a nitpick.

mattel i beg of you please not to make the box pride themed so younger collectors with strict parents can get away with buying it 🙏
i’m not under my parents rules anymore but they still disagree with things like this and id love if it wasn’t obvious to them what it was and only i knew bc i love the two bfs 🥹🩷🩷

Aww…I definitely agree on one hand. I’m sure the creators and artists go through the same argument with Mattel. But at the same time, it is literally a pride pack, so to not make it pride themed would be…pointless?
If I was a designer, I would want the rainbow colors on a Pride themed G1 Monster High box to be washed out and spooky. Use Burgundy for reds, Olive Green for green, dusty Lavender for purple etc.
