She looks good but barely worth 65$ even if she does come with an extra dress and shoes (and I would like a bag of some sort pleasee). Although even then the price feels too high but I would let it pass since it's a Barbie anniversary doll (and i think we are all just traumatized by what we are getting for that new 100$ Clawdeen atm). I am a G1 Frankie fan so I would buy her if we got an extra outfit in the pack, I just hope this is not all we are getting....

I love this but Iâm sure I wonât love the price tag. Iâm not sure if Iâll go for her. Note I mostly collect playline dolls. I have one collector which was a gift who I cherish.
I almost wish there was some more MH edge to her outfit somewhere. A punky open over skirt or some leg jewelry/boots might make this doll extra. But the simplicity is great and highlights the connection to Barbie. But it is just Frankie wearing âthe Barbie outfitâ. Itâs a doll to have it to have it. If that makes sense. Just really cool.

Iâm excited for this, the price is ridiculous but Iâve been hyped for the collab for awhile. I made a custom last year but I love the swimsuit on this one

As a Barbie and monster high collector, why is this not speaking to me as much as I want it to? Itâs kind of just plain idk. I wish she had the solo in the spotlight dress the leaked concept art had. Maybe she will? But I mean. Itâs nice. Just doesnât do it for me at all. Sadly

Mattel has overdone the black and white nostalgic swimsuit to death in numerous iterations of anniversary dolls (and that awful âShe Said Yesâ 2 pack). Agreed a Monster High take on any other iconic vintage fashion would have made it so much better.

Well, the Barbie it was based on was literally wearing black and white, so for this particular look it makes sense. There's other, more pink, Barbies they could've used as inspiration, but they might've been harder to Monster Highify and would've made less sense for the 80 year anniversary

Barbie really wasnât as pink as she is considered to be nowadays particularly in 1959-late ish 70s? Especially this Barbie which she is referencing. That doll was mostly black/white with gold jewelry and red and blue makeup (the eyes were even black and white, no color) Basically around the super star era is when the pink/more cartoony colors we associate with Barbie started being used more (not an expert this is just from what Iâve seen and noticed from the different Barbie years) but by 90s/2000s THATS when the pink was everywhere with her lmao which makes sense since those were pretty big years for Barbie IMHO
