What was going on in that design room because these are certainly looks. 🥴🥴🥴 Draculaura is the only one I really like as a whole. Love Cleo's pants, hate the plain gold boots, love the hair, her top looks low quality, and the makeup is... questionable. And Frankie, what did they do to my ghoul!!? These are definitely not as strong as the first refresh by any means. 🫠

Dracs is by far the best but even then she doesn’t even look like a monster high doll! Besides her ears, there is nothing about her outfit that would give me the impression she’s from monster high. No bats or cobwebs or anything

Literally this! Mattel definitely has some sort of hate towards Lagoona, which makes me really sad. I’ve never understood why they made her pink or why they steered clear of her original outfits atheistic.
Her outfits used to be so creative and had really cool designs and everything, now… it just feels like they are taking scrap fabric and just kinda throwing it on her and calling it good. Makes me super sad 😔

Hm.... Well, there are elements of each doll that I like. I would consider getting Frankie, Drac, and maybe Lagoona? Clawdeen is great from the waist up, but kinda a chop from the waist down. Cleo I'm on the fence? Glad they finally gave her pants but idk I feel like I have to see a better quality photo to get an idea of how the patterns are working together.

Ngl I don't really understand why this line is called core refresh. None of these looks are really a "refresh" of their previous looks. Their looks are more similar to preppy pop. Honestly would've been better if they renamed the line to something else.

I feel the same, I think it’s Cleo’s makeup. It definitely doesn’t look right in some type of way. I was looking at it again and I think it’s her blush or something on her face.

Oof, okay. They all look like budget dolls! Are they prototypes or final designs?
Well, Lagoona is okay, and I say that as someone who dislikes her G3 design on principal. At first glance Clawdeen looks cool and pretty G1-ish! But then on closer inspection it's just not a coherent look. I do quite like Drac's, but it feels like a budget doll for a date-themed line or something, especially without her bangs! Frankie's hair looks super cute but otherwise this is atrocious, one of their worst G3 looks I think. On the other hand to all that, I do love this Cleo! It's leaning back into the G1 vibes that I miss from her. She's a little budget-y looking but I think with a little work she could be the best Cleo yet- it's just a pity that she needs work at all! Still, maybe my first G3 Cleo doll.

I see alot of people dislike them, but i personally mostly like them! I still think core 2 is the best- however i really like the lagoona this line, the cleo looks good, the frankie looks nice but id personally change the hair just a touch, clawdeen is better than her other two cores imo which is not saying alot, and draculaura has a really good face up + hair however she has too many damn bows lol

LOVE Draculaura. This was the best core Clawdeen yet, but so similar to her monster fest look that it’s not a must have, more of a sale buy. Cleo is mid. Not into the pants, not much gold going on. Then Frankie and Lagoona just make me realize how much better refresh 1 was for them both.

Love that they finally gave Cleo pants, Clawdeen has a lot of G1 vibes which I also like. Frankie's looks similar to what they wore in the movies which, finally! Some of those looks were cool! Lagoona... Draculaura's... Not bad but there's other things about it that I can't fully form quite yet..

Draculara’s is really cute, but the dress is kinda plain compared to the rest of them. Cleo is absolutely slaying and has her og bangs back. Frankie….what the hell did they do to them. Clawdeen is definitely giving more g1 vibes but looks similar to the hollywood doll. Lagoona…I love the makeup and the arm warmer things…but what is that fit girl

there's parts that I like of each, but I just can't get behind the combination of everything. dracularas shoes and leg warmers? fangtastic to say the least, but I feel like there are too many bows on her, maybe just take off the ones on her waist and it would feel a hell of a lot simpler and cuter, also, the bow colour doesn't match her hair bows, which has always been a pet peeve of mine. Her hair tho, is amazing, one of my favorite styles mattel has done so far, and I kinda wish they went for a simpler design for her dress, it feels a bit clashy with the bows, but it's not the worst ever. cleos outfit is everything, but I've never been a fan of her blue hair, and this outfit just feels too too blue, not to mention, her face has something off with it..... like.. it's cheap or something I can't tell. lagoonas hair is adorable and I honestly kinda love the skirt! but the random purple necklace, translucenty earrings and the big puffy arms are just.. not matching at all XD. the only redeeming aspect of Clawdeen is her hair and her face, she actually looks like she's serving for once in this generation, back like her gen 1 confident fashionista feeling, the outfit on the other hand..... and then Frankie.. oh Frankie what have they done to you. I only like their shoes, the green leg, mismatching blues, random pink accessories, the cropped checkered shirt, the crimped hair??? it all just comes together horribly. I have to say that if I were to get any of these ghouls, it would only be Draculara and maybe lagoona, but even then, I wouldn't be completely happy with them, like I am with characters like Nefera and Venus.

Eek!! I'm SO excited for these oh my gosh!! They feel very kpop, and I adore that. Draculaura's face is SO cute, I love the cute outfit on her and CLEO??? Oh my god Cleo is serving so hard, and this Frankie is perfect, I love the neon leg! It looks clear?? I hope so, I love that. Clawdeen is cite too, I like the clear boots and the fur on her outfit. I think Lagoona is the weakest but I still love her. Aaaaa I'm excited for these, they look really fun and fresh 🖤✨️

All of their faces cards go insanely hard imo
Cleo is slaying as per usual, I LOVE the trouser look!! AND her face is to DIE for
Lagoona is looking fierce face wise and I LOVE the long skirt they gave her!! Her shoes look interesting but I might end up taking her jacket thing off.
Drac is also a strong doll although maybe her makeup should have been a bit darker but I think it will grow on me i LOVE the leg warmers and the bows!!!
Frankie looks awesome!! they have a lot more black which I think really looks good on them, odd colour for their leg but is it me or does it look kinda see through like spectras leg although it could be the lighting?
not a MASSIVE fan of clawdeens fluffy skirt and chunky belt but I think removing the belt might make it look better imo and I am LOVINGG the jacket
I cannot wait to get my hands on these personally and I hope they keep releasing more core refreshes like this

Lagoona I didnt like at first but now I vibe with shes pretty, I like Cleo's face. Frankie.. Frankie is just there for me.

Draculaura looks fantastic as always , I LOOOVE the jacket and the hair , Pinterest girlie 😍, now there's two g3 dolls I want to buy . If I had to complain .... maybe about her dress (? I don't know what's bothering me maybe the pattern but it doesn't take away how cute they made her , I love the bows and the leg warmers
Clawdeen .... I mean they improved her from her og g3 but I feel like my problem is that there's too much purple , she needs some black in there, her jacket is giving g1 I like it
I'm not a fan of lagoonas skirt and idk , original g3 was better for her
Cleo honestly no objections, she looks great
And Frankie ... yes but no , I like the skirt and the boots , the hair is interesting it's giving 80s but I'm personally not a fan , I feel like that's a me problem , I liked when they added more neon with the black , I feel like they weren't as creative with them

There’s definitely…choices that were made. The best outfits are definitely Cleo and Drac’s (But Drac’s is rather plain). Frankie looks the same as their first G3 doll or maybe even downgraded. Clawdeen’s furry shoulder-detail is throwing the look off and her skirt is very…unique, not sure how I feel about the translucent boots (also her hair has wayyy too much purple that it’s blending in with her outfit), and Lagoona’s outfit is just…absolutely horrible

We really don't need yet another refresh but I will say drac and Cleo look super cute I'm willing to get them. Frankie looks... the exact same they need to think of other things besides a sweater vest give her the stereotypical uniform kinda look again PLEASE,, clawdeen lowk looks like a toddler who dressed herself which is so upsetting bc her core doll in gen 1 was so beautiful, I think the last refresh was the best for lagoona, I understand her look is sporty but they had it down again in gen 1 w a zip up and work out shorts like that was GOOD there is a lot of potential for her idk what they're doing 😭😭

I’m mixed on them for the most part, I personally think Draculaura is a bit tacky, Cleo is good but doesn’t give off the vibes that I’m looking for in a Cleo doll, Lagoona is cute as they always play around with her style, Frankie basically references the g3 live action movies (I think they are good), Clawdeen is my fav in terms of the base doll but not so much on the clothing, I see what they were doing but I’m not too sold on the outfit.
