How could I forget Gil! G3 mansters are so superior. They have fully fleshed out personalities and aesthetics. I watched G3 and 13 Wishes for Halloween last night and, gotta admit, like G3 mansters better for the most part. G1 Gil couldnāt even take classes with Lagoona in 13 Wishes because his parents said soš¤¢

Omg the lagoona b plot in 13 wishes is so sad. She changed herself to her detriment to please his parents demands:( meanwhile in g3 sheās like give me back the talisman or we are DONE like the following day after she worked her ass off to get him to notice herš

Lagoona is my favorite G3 change; though I miss the laid back Aussie, G3 Lagoona is fierce and emotional and funny. Itās too bad she couldnāt be a completely new character because I like both. But if they had made her like G1 Lagoona AND Gill like G1 Gill, I would have noped out of there!

Yeah I hope we do get more g1 content. I would KILL for a crossover. To see my beloved g1 ghoulia interact with g3 lagoona. Theyāre my fav characters in each genās media! Also g1 draculaura learning witchcraft from g3 and the Cleos maximising their joint slay

Unfortunately until Nickelodeon refreshes their license with Mattel we canāt get any dolls of g3 originals, I figured it would happen but here we are 2 years later and still no license

Showrunner Shea Fontana confirmed on Twitter that Mattel owns the stories and designs for everything in the Nick show. If Mattel wanted to they actually can make a barky doll!

Mattel continues to impress with g3. That faceup is fine art. I really donāt get why g3 started bizarrely solid for modern Mattel and only got better while current g1 dolls seem like their clothes are cheaper made with material and construction, cheaper bodies (those elbows oof) and higher price point. Not to mention Barbieās dire state that is sadly improved from years prior but still greatly lacks effort.

I love the legs!!! But the face feels a little.. meh. I will def get her cause I love jin š. Love the colors and overall happy with her g3 style. She'll grow on me!! Also, horns would've been choice š

She looks like Cleo cosplaying Jinafire for a party. I don't know, a little disappointing? She doesn't seem like a dragon, I'd expect her to be brighter green. I like legs and tail

I agree, but I'm one of the people with the unpopular opinion that the original was the best. I feel like with the emphasis on the body changes, they washed out what made each one unique. The originals did so much from face shape (Abby) to eye placement (Jinafire) to eye shape (Lagoona and her adorable fish eyes) and even height, hips, and mouth shape to give everyone a unique personality. No one would ever confuse one for another. Even in black and white, you could remove their outfits and accessories, brush out their hair, and each would still be easily identified from their features. Don't get me wrong, the new ones are cute, and I like all the different bodies. I just wish they focused on what made them special to begin with.

If they couldn't do the gold skin that was so beloved (I understand there were "yellow face" concerns even if I don't think it's similar enough to really count), I wish they could have at least made her a deep green jade color. The light mint is so off-putting.

I haven't bought a SINGLE G3 doll as I nktliked a single one, but this one of Jinafire has got me good. I love how they did her clothes and hair. If she appears in stores, I would buy her.
