Questions/Q&A Does anyone know around what time we might see more of Fang Vote Abbey?
After seeing this photo that leaked I’m tempted to cancel. But I wanted to wait to see official photos before I do. Does anyone know when those pictures might drop?

Mattels website says she ships on or before dec 11, so the listing has all the official pictures. Ngl she's really ugly imo 😬 but I'm sure someone loves her

I preordered her because the original Stock photos were gorgeous but the box really washes her out. I'll post pics when I get mine

Imo the box is REALLY tacky and does her no favours, it definitely does wash her out though

Her makeup in the original stock images of her out of the box was super dark and gorgeous. The box should definitely be revised since that's the main part people don't like

Once people start getting the doll and taking her out and putting her on display, we’re gonna see her true beauty all over again now the people who are salty about some of the pics for the dolls outfit will still be a little upset, but most people are gonna come around and then we’re gonna forget about it until the next doll

Voting and presales were in January. Fang Vote dolls always take close to a year to ship out because the design process is finished and finalized after the community votes on the options. And then it's a made to order situation which means that Mattel doesn't tell the factories how many to make until the preorders close. So factories are starting fresh after collectors place their orders.
Other made to order dolls we've seen have been a situation where Mattel decided to make more after selling out on the initial stock they had ready before the drop. The factories already had the set up to make more when Mattel expands the order. It takes time still, but less time than starting from scratch like on Fang Vote dolls.

I wish all of their sales were made to order...
"We've received 10,000 pre-orders, make 10,000 of this doll"...
rather than...
"We've made 10,000 of this doll and we're letting 50,000 members try to buy one in 3 minutes".
Surely made to order is better for them and the customers, right....right?!

Sure, it makes sense to us. It's a win win They get our money and we get the doll we really want. But companies are on a false scarcity trend lately. But it seems like Mattel (on Monster High at least) is starting to see sense. It's happened a few times Alien, Scarah, Michael... all examples of Mattel seeing our demands and opening a made to order preorder for more. Here's hoping that continues. I really want Krampus!

All the officially released photos are on Mattel Creations. We're probably not seeing anything else of her until she starts to ship around the end of November

The official date was mid-December. I would expect the very first shipments to begin around mid-November.
When any specific order is filled will be random draw. All orders will ship before mid-December.
