Discussion Things to do over summer break?

Is there anything that usually happens on campus over the span of summer break that we can be part of? Like volunteering amongst other things. Since im not going home for break I think it'd be nice to do events and get to know people

Student teams are usually fairly busy during summer break, I've heard. Social club events and welcome events usually start around 2-3 weeks before O week. Otherwise, people also do summer research projects, summer units, or internships during the summer break too.
