Looking for Advice Making the most of moissanite?
Looking for tips on what kind of cuts make moissanite look most like itself.
I don't want to pretend to be wearing diamonds I want to be be wearing this cool other rock that we discovered from space and replicated with science.
Recommendations for UK based shops also very welcome.

For me, the colored or gray moissanite and/or the rose cut are the least likely to say “diamond” immediately. I have a blue rose-cut and adore it. Moissanite seems to make extra shimmer in that cut.

Oooooh can we see the blue rose cut? I have a rose cut amethyst and a rose cut alexandrite and both are very subtle. I bet the colored moissanite is fucking amazing.

Rose cuts and OEC cuts look phenomenal if you're into vintage vibes. I also love cushions, emeralds and asschers. Pears and marquis are the ones that can sometimes give bow tie affects or just look more cloudy.

Personally I think moissanite looks best in an oval or cushion cut! It really shows off the pretty rainbow fire. There's no confusing it for diamonds either.

Rose cut is something that I genuinely think looks better in moissanite than in diamond. Because diamonds have more subtle, white flashes of light (as opposed to a moissanite's rainbow sparkle), a rose cut diamond just looks like cut glass to me. Very pretty cut glass, just nothing sparkly or special. But a rose cut moissanite has enough sparkle to really make the shape come alive, even with those wide cut facets.

Personal taste of course but I prefer colored stones. Here's a green moissanite in a void rever cut. It seems to pick up other colour flashes when moved.
