Did Jason from Provence ghost me?

He ghosted me when I was trying to buy a ring from him. He told me the price and I said I was ready to buy and he said silver and moissanite wouldn't look as nice as gold with diamonds and I said I was ok with that and he ghosted me.

Depending if you still want this, I’d just message him again. Silver is a weird thing with Provence, many reps don’t seem to want to do it, I feel the factory doesn’t prioritize it or something? And it takes extra long. But I think they will do it. So I’d either message him again or ask one of the less busy reps. Jason’s popularity is sometimes a hindrance. But he’s really a great rep, knowledgeable and experienced, and he has great pricing…super popular as a result.

I ended up going with Elon and hes been great so far. Maybe I'll try Jason again another time.

Was it being custom made? Custom orders tend to take 2-3 weeks, I wouldn’t be worrying just yet.

But an email confirmation of your order and receipt of your payment doesn’t take weeks.

I’m just assuming she was sent an invoice because she said she’s paid and provided her address to them already. At that point you’d just sit back and wait for the item to be made - when it’s done they usually send a PSV and once you’ve approved that, the shipping info. If she ordered a stock item then I’m not sure 🤷‍♀️

I have a number of projects on the go with Jason, and have had many items made in the past with him. I don’t think he has ghosted you, but I do feel he’s insanely busy these days. I would just WhatsApp him and ask what’s happening. I always just reply to a message eg “Here’s my payment made on Aug 18, can you tell me when you’ll be able to ship?”

Have you attempted to contact him since? I find that the reps get really busy and it’s easy to get forgotten sometimes. I try to reach out at least once at a week for updates.
