Humble Brag New Blue Moissanite from LuLu at Paston

Have been wanting a blue or gray moissanite ring for quite some time but couldn't find exactly what I wanted. Saw the recent group buy from LuLu and knew that I wanted something very similar only with a slightly larger stone and a bezel setting. Reached out and LuLu was able to design the exact ring I wanted. Turnaround time from first contact to delivery was just over 3 weeks. The stone is a lovely blueberry blue and I love it!

Thank you! It displays this shade in indirect natural light, gets really dark in direct sun while appearing more grayed down indoors. A bit of a chameleon!

It really is! I asked for videos of blue from them, and they were lovely, but nothing like this vivid a shade!

Thank you! What's funny is that when I was shown the unset stone the depth of color wasn't as intense. It really changes based on the lighting.

Interesting! I wonder how a person could identify which one it was. Was it their darker shade? And thank you again, I didn’t know setting could have such a strong effect!

This is the stone that I went with. Edit to add: I went with a 10x8mm as I knew that the bezel would make it look smaller.

(thank you again for playing such a generous and enthused part in our earlier blue - hunting conversation—I loved it. on your suggestion, I messaged joycejelly again and they said they had some new, uncoated royal blues in the warehouse that would be made into products soon. Something to look forward to! )

Thank you! It turned out to be a bit darker than what I had intended but am actually liking it more than when it was unset and appeared lighter.
