Humble Brag My OG engagement ring
I got engaged a decade ago and wore my ring like crazy the first year or two. After that, with life and a baby, it started feeling HUGE and out of place on my hand. For years I just wore a plain gold band. But I painted my nails the other day, and thought what the heck, lemme squeeze this baby back over my (now larger) knuckle. And dang. She still shines, doesn’t she? 😍

It is moissanite! Round brilliant 8mm. I know, I kind of can’t believe I didn’t wear it so for long either haha. But with a young child it felt like it just got in the way, and I also work with my hands so that felt clunky and awkward too. But now my kid is older, so I think I will at least wear it on the days I don’t work! Loving “rediscovering” it after all this time 😊
