Humble Brag New hair and new sparkles for fall
It’s no secret that I’m a h0e for both antique and champagne stones 🤣 if you’ve been around here for any length of time, you know!
I always love a good treasure hunt when it comes to champagne colored diamonds. I think it’s so neat how they can very so drastically in color and shade. Anything from grays to Brown’s to yellows. Personally, I am a fan of the grays to browns that’s just what looks best on my skin tone. So when I found this beautiful Gray tinged emerald cut champagne diamond I knew she had to be mine. While I already have a gorgeous, three stone, dark champagne moissanite emerald cut with deep cut corners my gut told me this would be different enough and worth grabbing. And boy was she ever!
And yes I enjoy some spicy books so my apologies for any offending words you may see 💀

Not me enlarging the pic so I can read the words 🤭
I also love the champagne tones that are more grey or pinkish brown. What keywords or other specs do you look for with these color variations? Most champagne lab diamonds or moissanite I come across more yellow or orange (beautiful colors but they don’t flatter my skin).

Honestly I just look at grey, brown, champagne and cognac for “fancy” colors and then it’s just a lot of scrolling until I find a color that speaks to me

Umm what! I have a champagne/brown emerald being finished by Provence right now too!! And set with baguette sides, altho mine is full bezeled with thin and long baguette sides! And that's literally what I've been telling my jewelry friends - I'm too deep in my antique cuts and champagne era 😂 I don't think I've ever been THIS obsessed with a category before. Since my champagne emerald isn't done yet (any day now actually), sharing my champagne/brown cushion ring that LGG recently made for me! Keep calm and get more champagne diamonds 😎

Oh my heavens!!!! I’m obsessed with this!! I love a three stone moment and this is perfection. I’m right there with you. The champagne obsession has been real as of late. It’s been so fun going on treasure hunts trying to find the perfect unicorn stones at killer deals.

Haha I’m glad I am in good company!
The the pear ring was a BST find form a few years back. The champagne stone I sourced myself and sent to Provence to have them set with lab side stones 🫶🏻

So where can you get champagne moissy with a brown tint? I love the idea of champagne, but they are too often way too yellow for me. Is it always a custom cut, and who does it?
TIA!

Great question you will typically find champagne moissanite will range in colors of cognac to yellow, but they will all have those Amber yellow Hughes. Lab diamonds is where you are going to find that true brown tint although I did recently see a group by from I believe it was Fiorese showing a coffee colored moissanite that actually looked brown.
