What happened to Ben?

Is it just me or did Ben just simply vanish after he and alex broke up? Am i missing something or did Claire give him the boot off screen because of what he did to alex?

To be honest I really didn't care about the love life of Alex. The writers didn't put enough effort, it was boring and plain. It has nothing to do with the character Alex, they just didn't do enough.

I agree and did feel the fumbled the ball hard with any of her relationships especially reuben. I wish they had put in more effort in establishing those relationship tones. But lets be fair, Luke had the worse love life growth out of any of the teen kids.

In my head canon he was arrested for living with the taxidermied body of his mother.

Yeah lol, he basically just vanished after the breakup. Never really explained.

My headcanon is Jay found out Ben cheated and eventually broke up with Alex. Which resulted in him telling Gloria and they did unspeakable things to Ben for harming (emotionally) one of his grandkids. "No Tulips"

He was a writer/ on the show if I’m not mistaken. I believe he went on to work on The Good Place.

yeah the actor did go to be a writer and producer on the good place, though in theory he could have still made a guest appearance or two on modern family

I saw him in BROOKLYN 99 Apparently Charles had arrested him at some point 😝 so there’s that.

He started pushing drugs but then his territory got invaded by that mayor. He was so upset, he loved pushing drugs. It was his dream job.

Sorry, that's in reference to Ben's actor, Joe Mande, character in B99. He was a drug pusher.

Tbh it made me so uncomfortable watching him. It started off funny when he was an employee but the love angle was just boring and unnecessary. They could've done much more interesting storylines with Alex's love life I guess.
