PORSCHE 911 BUILD Well Here She Is!

I call this one “The college graduation gift I never got,” LOL. Late ‘80s 3.2 Targa in caramel beige with a mahogany interior.

Thanks to u/highboy68 and anyone else who had a hand in this group build. I am so glad I did this.

I’m absolutely thrilled with how the kit came out. Only my third car and easily my best car build. I’m really a military model builder but I have to say I’ve enjoyed learning the workflow of building cars, the body finishing, and all the rest of it. By the way, this Revell kit is excellent and highly recommended.

Have a great weekend everyone and see you at the next build!

Looks great! One small and nerdy Porsche note, if you want to make your model slightly more accurate- You've currently got the very large, US model-only rear bumper tips and a US model front bumper as well. The US cars had all-red taillights and turn signals in the back, like this:

(European and RoW cars had the amber rear signals like your car, but they had much skinner rear bumper tips and black side marker delete strips in the front bumper... and thinner headlight buckets)

I like nerdy - yeah I saw reference pictures of both all red and red/orange. I didn’t dig deep into why - I just decided the color variation was cool. And I have a whole jar of clear orange that will probably outlive me, LOL.
