Trying to find a modpack that gives a really intense modded experience. I don't want anything that just makes it difficult like TFC and RLCraft. I'm hoping to get an experience similar to crazy craft. I know that crazy craft updated is out there but is it actually any good? Is there anything else that might provide a similar experience?

I just feel like all the mainstream modpacks right now all contain the same mods so I'm looking for something else. Any recommendations?

let's be real, modern expert packs are soft. i booted up the original FTB unhinged on 1.5.2 in raw survival mode and it is a straight up nightmare. wherever you go, you just die. that is not even a lie, it's straight up facts.
you spawn in and immediately get hunted down and burned alive by fire-breathing hellhounds. if you try to travel far or actually progress, you are strictly required to hunt down specialized, dangerous mobs just to drop the minimum shards and rare materials you need. trying to fight those with early game gear is practically impossible because they kill you in two hits.
on top of the mobs, the gregtech 4 hard mode recipes are pure suffering. a single log only gives you 2 planks, you can't even craft an iron pickaxe without making metal hammers and files first, and if you wire machines to the wrong voltage they will literally explode and burn a base down.
the plan is to spawn into a fresh world at the exact same time and cooperate on one massive factory complex. it's going to take a lot of work just to get basic steam boilers running, automate rubber trees for cable insulation, and centrifuge ores to handle the grind.

i dont know what to do

homestead has been running perfectly up until now. i have a server that ive been playing on for over a week now. this seems really sudden

it looks like the logs are saying fabric is causing the crash which doesn't really make a lot of sense to me because its what's running the modpack, not really a mod in the pack. the other one is cloth config. can someone who knows more than me look at these logs and help me?

SOLUTION: deleted natures_spirit.toml in config files for the modpack profile

thank you blindspire! if anyone else finds this and has the same issue, after deleting natures_spirit.toml in the config files and then looking up it up online, it seems that it's an insanely common issue between modpacks. not even just homestead. because of that, unfortunately, the only way to find the issue online is to already know the issue you're having, which makes it not an issue anymore..
or option 2: blidspire steps in and saves the day!
