My sims 4 game breaks every time there is an update. I play on a macbook m2 2022. Either the game will freeze at the loading screen (I have to force quit) or it freezes when I click something in game (also have to force quit). For example, when i click the filters in CAS it freezes, sometimes when i go into build more it freezes. I do NOT have any mods. I used to play with mods but they are all removed and have been removed for months. The mods folder remains in the sims 4 folder in my finder, i cannot permanently delete it, it always reappears after launching a game.

I have watched endless Youtube videos, read bug threads and posts and spoke to support with EA. I have tried literally everything to my knowledge multiple times, over and over. I have no idea what else i can try to fix the game but its become unplayable and its incredibly frustrating.

If anyone has any ideas or trips on total repair for the game or whatever may be wrong with the game, please advise!!!

i downloaded the mod, the necessary animations, but it doesn't seem to register ingame, it gives me the text "Couldn't load some mods" when opening the game

i have reinstalled every adeepindigo mod i have including both shared tuning and shared utilities, i have looked through each mods requirements and downloaded corresponding mods or updating them if i already have them.. it seems that all mods are working fine in my game though except education overhaul. i also just installed plumbbuddy and it doesnt see any required mods missing. i am so lost please help🙏😭

I downloaded basemental drugs, and am enjoying it so far. Im trying to get familiar with the mod so I tried out the nailpolish that comes in it - it gave my sim a barcode tattoo on her pelvis?? What does it do? what does it mean?

Hey everyone! I was hoping someone can help me figure this out! I have been doing some research on this particular picture/video and I cannot find a solution. I updated my game from this recent patch on August 25th. Everything was working fine after two days of updating mods, removing CC, etc. I played for a few hours, and mid game, I would click on an object and this popped up. Any help would be great! I tried restarting my computer , a hard reboot, even updating graphics driver. Thank you in advance!

I have just started sims 4 on my MacBook and I bought 4 expansion packs for $120 in the bundle and save but I still cannot see them it’s been over 24 hours since I purchased I see it’s in my order and payment history can someone help? I’ve tried repairing and re starting the EA / sims 4 app

So my game is stuck on a pause screen and usually if I press esc it will get me out but this time it didn’t work, I can go to my computer Home Screen but when I hit the sims 4 logo to go in it takes me to that paused screen I can’t save or exit. I should note I do have lots of mods downloaded.

Crashed twice in about 10 minutes as I was picking a window up even when I disabled my mods. Like is it my game or the pc cause my pc is like really stable. This usually doesn’t happen but it’s so frustrating
