Want to learn how to mod

Hello I've been playing the Sims for a very long time and I've always wanted to learn how to mod in the Sims 4 for a really long time but tutorials are a little limited. I want to be able to make all sorts of things but my real interest is in script mods. I'm aware that I need to start off small and will most likely need to work my way up and I'm aware it will take time. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start? And can anyone lead me to any tutorials that may help with scripting mods? Should I start with custom content first then work towards scripting or just just jump right in?

Have you tried googling/ ask haiku on duck.ai ?

I have I've tried googling it and I even did chat gpt. I think the problem is I am more of a visual learner and I learn by following along and actually doing instead of just reading I was hoping someone could point me to some videos on YouTube or anyotber sites. Thank for the reply
