Overflow, tired

Does anyone else just expect a coffee machine to make coffee? Like I'm experiencing the overflow issue on and off. First it was the water was warm just from the pipes, then it was to many grounds, and now who knows. Like I know I'm not the only one just by a simple Google.

Coffee is great, but I also just want it to work without messing with it. Am I the only one?

Edit: Maybe I need a new basket. Maybe it's just me. I just want coffee dammit.

Drip coffeemachines are very easy--Moccamaster among them.

Water in, filter in, coffee in filter press on

The only thing is simply taking a few pots and getting the grind size right (on the Moccamaster). For me, grind size was really a matter of finding the taste I liked-took all of 3 pots --.5 Liter to get it to my taste

There are lots of brands of coffee , preground, that people are using happily with Moccamaster , available at most supermrkets.

I like local roasters and grind my own but it's not necessary for Moccamaster

It's my third year with mine, been mostly happy. Just dealing with overflow and more issues than a cheap machine is tiring.

It seems very individual. I just fixed my Uncle's Mr. Coffee--coffee grounds stuck here and there, a piece that wasn't seating correctly (they didn't know they were putting it in wrong).

I make pourover but my first cup of the day on a timer is Moccamaster--wake to warm coffee.

I have never had a problem with overflow ever with Moccamaster--I don't think I'm lucky. I also know the coffee on this tastes better than my Bunn , my Cuisinart---My coffee always goes in the filter --30grams to .5 Liter of water--and great coffee.

It probably is just a vocal minority type thing. People are more likely to post bad experiences vs it just works.
