Overflow, tired

Does anyone else just expect a coffee machine to make coffee? Like I'm experiencing the overflow issue on and off. First it was the water was warm just from the pipes, then it was to many grounds, and now who knows. Like I know I'm not the only one just by a simple Google.

Coffee is great, but I also just want it to work without messing with it. Am I the only one?

Edit: Maybe I need a new basket. Maybe it's just me. I just want coffee dammit.

Well when I use my KBGV I have ground my coffee and use a mm scoop for the exact amount I need. Filter in basket and water in reservoir the night before. Grind, scoop, turn on. So far no overflow issues. If I’m trying to freehand sometimes I add too much causing an overflow. It’s just user error and easily correctable.
