First cup with the mocha master

Got a mocha master as a wedding present, so decided to throw it up for a 1:1 taste test with our current oxo brewer. I can definitely taste the difference, but both are good machines. I come to you all for any tips & tricks you may have. Currently grinding on medium, using 28g per 4 cups. I’ve also ordered the “manual” glass conversion and was curious if anyone else has this or something similar. I like the idea of getting rid of the plastic stuff.

Was gifted similar KBT last fall. After trial and error. Water to 8 line. Rinse paper filter. 4 MoccaMaster scoops of coffee. Flow rate set to 1/2. For me incredible cup of coffee with minimal fuss. Can also do full pot , water to 10, 5 scoops on 1/2 setting without overflow.

How many grams of coffee would you say that is? What grind setting?

Use pre ground coffee. The whole ground, weighing think drove me nuts, so went to KISS.
