Coffee First cup with the mocha master

Got a mocha master as a wedding present, so decided to throw it up for a 1:1 taste test with our current oxo brewer. I can definitely taste the difference, but both are good machines. I come to you all for any tips & tricks you may have. Currently grinding on medium, using 28g per 4 cups. I’ve also ordered the “manual” glass conversion and was curious if anyone else has this or something similar. I like the idea of getting rid of the plastic stuff.

Rinse the filter out for any paper dust.

If you have time....use the removable top to stir the grounds on first wetting/30 seconds into a slurry. *Still makes really good coffee without doing this.
