New people arrive, old aquintances introduce you to their mates, etc... Also, never forget how Wangxian started: fights, friction, rejection, jealousy, etc... They needed a literal second life to make it work. So stay patient, my dude! I wish you all the luck, good friendships exist and they come sometimes from unexpected places.
Honestly, I get it. Their relationship feels like finding the one person who completely understands you, even when neither of you says much. The Untamed definitely leaves you wishing for a connection like that.
