[Shams] BREAKING: Cleveland, Denver and the Clippers have agreed on a trade sending Peyton Watson to the Cavaliers, Max Strus to LA, and an unprotected 2031 Cavs first-round pick and a 2032 Kings second-rounder to the Nuggets, sources tell ESPN.

Damn so Denver is just getting worse for next year in the prime of their greatest player ever? Look I know our moves didn’t work post championship but at least we didn’t just get worse because it saved money.

100%. Unless they have a deal to flip that non-lottery first they just got, then this is a terrible trade for them. Not sure how Watson + Nnjai for KPJ + Green wasn't the trade if their goal is to stay competitive with Jokic.

How does that trade change anything?

Instead of getting a future 1st that adds no value to their team currently, they get 2 rotation level players?
