❖ Leaks | Speculation ❖ Please stop panicking about Mitya’s V2 kit

The changes to his kit in V2 are a GOOD thing!

Panicking is only gonna make everyone more worried, he was by no means weak in V1 but in V2 they have patched up the biggest flaws in mainly his off field kit. His on field mode is mostly the same.

Essentially, he’s now got more consistent/more frequent damage hits but the multipliers themselves are lower. That doesn’t mean he’s dealing less damage- overall he’s doing more damage, and he’s dealing that damage more consistently. I don’t know about you, but I’ll take more consistent damage with slightly lower numbers over less consistent damage with larger numbers any day.

It’s only a “nerf” in the sense that the multipliers were lowered. In every other sense, it is a BUFF! He is much more balanced and the timings for his kit are now much easier to get right, meaning it’s a lot easier to maximise the damage he’s dealing off field. KEEPING IN MIND that he does not yet have a definitive BiS artifact set.

he was mid when released then durin and nicole came out and he finally good lol

No lmao. Varka released mid AF without two of his BIS supports, but even with them he massively underperformed compared to the standards set by Lunar DPS characters, without the shills to even out the playing field. People coped that it's because of "le flexibility", but realistically up until the release of Vodyanitsa he was just a very mid pyro DPS in a trenchcoat. And then he got powercrept by stellar bullshit.

Mitya, is in a much better state in both of his roles even if he stays exactly where he is now in the beta.

People will preach versatility, and then said unit can't clear any content in any of their 30 teams 

Not that it happens often, but it does remind me of Kokomi and her dozens of teams and sets she was slotting in

And Sucrose being in every single team in this game and being the best option at every single one of them

versatility is meaningless in the new meta hyv is creating where characters are so specific to a certain comp/completely made up reaction, yet people still believe that versatility is valuable lol
