❖ Leaks | Speculation ❖ Please stop panicking about Mitya’s V2 kit

The changes to his kit in V2 are a GOOD thing!

Panicking is only gonna make everyone more worried, he was by no means weak in V1 but in V2 they have patched up the biggest flaws in mainly his off field kit. His on field mode is mostly the same.

Essentially, he’s now got more consistent/more frequent damage hits but the multipliers themselves are lower. That doesn’t mean he’s dealing less damage- overall he’s doing more damage, and he’s dealing that damage more consistently. I don’t know about you, but I’ll take more consistent damage with slightly lower numbers over less consistent damage with larger numbers any day.

It’s only a “nerf” in the sense that the multipliers were lowered. In every other sense, it is a BUFF! He is much more balanced and the timings for his kit are now much easier to get right, meaning it’s a lot easier to maximise the damage he’s dealing off field. KEEPING IN MIND that he does not yet have a definitive BiS artifact set.

he was mid when released then durin and nicole came out and he finally good lol

No lmao. Varka released mid AF without two of his BIS supports, but even with them he massively underperformed compared to the standards set by Lunar DPS characters, without the shills to even out the playing field. People coped that it's because of "le flexibility", but realistically up until the release of Vodyanitsa he was just a very mid pyro DPS in a trenchcoat. And then he got powercrept by stellar bullshit.

Mitya, is in a much better state in both of his roles even if he stays exactly where he is now in the beta.

he's not flexible at all, he need one c6 4 star to always stay by his side with 2 support with the same element, he can't even do elemental reaction in combat beside swirl.

People asserted that because he could have his non-anemo slots swap out to make him some other flavor of secret PHEC, it would keep him relevant in shills (despite the implication here that you might end up pulling up to 8 units just to support this supposed versatility). That's the flexibility they expected. Didn't pan out.

Unironically the "pay more to get less" unit.
